Medical Marijuana Being Sold in Israeli Pharmacies

Is Our Health Care System Prepared To Serve Medical Marijuana Patients?

Deputy Health Minister Yakov Litzman announced recently that medical marijuana patients with a valid prescription from a doctor will soon be able to buy their medicine in Israeli pharmacies. In order to make this policy change possible, more doctors will be able to prescribe medical marijuana to patients and the production, distribution, and sale of medical marijuana will be regulated and controlled in the same way that other prescription drugs are.

Do you think this would work in the US? Is our health care system prepared to serve medical marijuana patients?
