The Washing State Liquor and Cannabis Board sent an email alert out on the morning of Friday, May 4th regarding a potential phishing email directed at marijuana licensees. A phishing email is a scheme meant to grab data from you or download a virus into your computer.

According to the WSLCB, the phony email appears to be from MJ Freeway with the subject listed as “MJ Freeway Data Request.” The message is not from a domain owned by MJ Freeway nor connected with MJ Freeway in any way. Any licensee that receives this email should delete it immediately without opening the email or clicking any of the links.
